With rhythmic bands and spots of reddish brown and white in a zebra like pattern, this unique Australian stone is set in a glass display case with bamboo base to make the perfect Australian gift.

Formed approximately 670 million years ago, Zebra stone is a sedimentary rock mainly composed of small particles of quartz, fine grained mica, clay minerals and iron oxide. The distinctive bands or spots were produced as iron oxide rich water migrated through the rock formation and precipitated iron oxide out in unique bands and patterns.
